You ever feel like you’re just… invisible? Like you’re walking through your day, doing everything for everyone, and somehow still feel unseen? You wave, you smile, you show up—but deep down, it feels like no one really sees you. Not for who you are. Not for what you carry.

Welcome to Daily Devotions for Busy Lives. I’m Bart Leger, and for the next few minutes, we’re gonna press pause and let the truth of God’s Word remind us who we are and who He is.

Listen to this from Isaiah 43:1:

“But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.’” (NLT)

He’s not talking to a crowd. He’s talking to you. God says, “I’ve called you by name. You’re mine.”

You are not anonymous in the eyes of God.

There are over 8 billion people on this planet. And still—He knows your name. Not your title. Not your role. Not your profile pic. Your name.

You’re not just “Mom.” You’re not just “Supervisor.” You’re not “the quiet one” or “the funny one” or “the one who’s always fine.” You are you. Unrepeatable. Beloved. Seen.

This verse in Isaiah? It was spoken to a nation, yes—but it was deeply personal. God was reminding His people: I’m the one who created you. I’m the one who formed you. And you’re not just a number—I’ve called you by name.

That’s true for you too.

Even if the world overlooks you… even if no one texts back, or checks in, or says thank you… your Heavenly Father sees you.

And not just sees you—He knows you. The real you. The tired you. The joyful you. The struggling you. And He still calls you His.

So today, if you feel invisible, if you feel like you’re slipping through the cracks—hear this: God’s voice is calling your name. And His voice is the one that matters most.

Today, I want you to say your name out loud. Just between you and God. And then say this: “You see me. I belong to You.”

Let’s pray.

“Father, thank You that I am not lost in the crowd. Thank You that You know my name. Help me walk in that truth today—confident, seen, and loved. Amen.”

Thanks for joining me today on Daily Devotions for Busy Lives. Remember—God sees you and knows your name. Come back tomorrow for more encouragement to help you live grounded in God’s truth.
